Peer Feedback + Analysis

Positive feedback:

Good idea, made sense and well explained
I like the colour scheme and the yellow/black tape idea gives the sense of rock and roll and metal
Style and colour matched genre very well and I like the idea that it is local (+14 a possibility?)

Improvements suggested:

Make audience wider maybe by including other genres or things which aren’t so narrow to the genre
Decide on a title either epidemic or pandemic
Try and spread variety

Analysis:

From the majority of the feedback that I received It is clear I need to not be so narrow with my ideas and try and widen my audience if my magazine were to realistically be placed on the market.
I also gained from my feedback a vote on who preferred Epidemic and who preferred Pandemic, the majority was Pandemic and I also agree with this as the play on words works better with my magazine and genre and also I may be covering a band called Epidemic in the double page spread and this could cause confusion or repetition.
The feedback on my style, colours and unique ideas were very positive so I should focus less on the design and more on the content with the implantation of something which will widen my audience and variety.
Overall my feedback has helped me greatly in understanding where I need to improve and where I should leave designs as they are as my target audience ( which was the majority of the class age wise) liked the designs and ideas but not just how narrow the genre of the music/content would be. Also other than expanding out to a wider audience it would be a better idea to aim it between a bigger age ranegs such as 14-18 instead of specific teen ages.
